Anyone intending to apply for selection in 2009 must register
his/her intention via the College website. Registration is now open and
closes on February 20. At the time of registration doctors must be in
Post Graduate Year 2 or beyond, and meet the generic
eligibility requirements.
A registration fee of $365 (plus GST) is payable by any doctor who is
not a current trainee in the BST or SET programs (excluding BST trainees
who have interrupted their training) or Fellow. IMGs who have been
recommended to apply to SET must pay the registration fee.
No late registrations will be accepted. read more

The 2008 edition of the College publication "Accreditation of
Hospitals and Posts for Surgical Education and Training" is now
available. With the increasing pressures on surgical training the
accreditation process now incorporates a commitment by accredited
institutions to administrative time for supervisors engaged in the
supervision of trainees. read

2.83 Mb)is now available. PD activities earn CPD points and assist you
to further develop your workplace performance as a clinician, teacher,
supervisor, leader and manager.

Committee, to assist individual Fellow to carry out regular audit
